RECYCLED MANURE SOLID BEDDING AND DAIRY HEALTH: TWO COMPATIBLE OBJECTIVES?

Producers have developed an increased interest for bedding produced from recycled manure solids, however, its use gives rise to many potential animal health concerns, whether founded or not. This conference will present and discuss the results of research on this type of bedding carried out on 88 dairy herds with the objective of quantifying the impact of this bedding on animal health.
