Theracalcium

Theracalcium

Description of Theracalcium

Bring milk fever down and keep production up with the unique dual action of Theracalcium.

Unique combination of two calcium salts: calcium gluconate and calcium glucoheptonate.

Ingrédients of Theracalcium

. Calcium gluconate: increases serum levels within 5 to 20 minutes, for 5 to 6 hours.
. Calcium glucoheptonate: available within 3 to 4 hours, maintains serum levels for up to 12 hours.

Similar effect to that of regular calcium borogluconate with lower total calcium than usual dose administered, thus reducing the risk of cardiotoxicity.
Serum levels of calcium are maintained for up to 12 hours, reducing the risk of relapse.

Directions for Use of Theracalcium

Administer Theracalcium by slow intravenous injection or subcutaneous injection high on the neck.

Intravenous administration is recommended for treatment of acute conditions. When administered subcutaneously, divide the dose over several injection sites to minimize local reactions. Do not inject more than 60 mL per site.
