Veterinarian - Technical Service

Companion Animal - Western Canada

The Veterinarian – technical service will be responsible to ensure technical training, support and coaching of the sales force and answer to technical questions asked by Vétoquinol customers. Closely collaborate with Product Managers in the development of product-specific communication.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Ensure technical training and coaching of the sales force and support them on their commercial activities with a technical point of view;

 

Respond to technical enquiries from customers and other stakeholders in a complete, precise and timely manner;

 

Ensure management of pharmacovigilance cases in canada. Manage complaints related to the quality of the products and investigate all cases;

 

Respect the most current positioning of Vétoquinol;

 

Develop durable and relationship with opinion leaders and professional/governmental organizations`;

 

Ensure a scientific intelligence on veterinary medicine innovations and on competitor's activity and inform the appropriate parties;

 

Ensure technical promotion of  Vétoquinol products during public events;

 

For the specific projects, closely collaborate with Product Managers in the development of product-specific communication materials;

 

The position will be based in Alberta, and will entail frequent travelling to Lavaltrie office (12 times a year). 

 

Qualifications :

 

  • Doctorate in veterinary medicine (D.M.V.)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary practice
  • Ability to teach and transmit technical knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Perfect written and oral English
  • Able to read and express him/herself in French (an asset)
  • Experience in sales/marketing (an asset)
  • Credibility and scientific rigour
  • Analysis and synthesis ability
