	Our history
	Vétoquinol was born in Lure, France, at the beginning of the 1930's, from Joseph Frechin's vision. Since then, the company has always remained a family-owned business and experienced a sustained growth that brought it to it's current position as a leader in the animal health market in Europe. In 1990, Vétoquinol N.-A. Inc. was founded in Canada, to cater to the needs of the entire North American market.

Presence throughout Canada
We have deep roots in Canada. Our Head Office, located in Lavaltrie, Québec, regroups our corporate administration for North America as well as the Customer Service for Québec and the Maritimes.   Two other locations, in Cambridge, Ontario and Edmonton, Alberta, complete our Customer Service network.   Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Princeville, Québec, meet GMP Standards and manufacture products for our customers in Canada and other parts of the world.   Our pharmaceutical Research and Development Center located in St-Hyacinthe, Québec, conceives appropriate dosage forms based on the needs of the market. The development of formulations by scientists in the pharmaceutical research and development center requires mechanical and physico-chemical characterization of novel and existing products and the development of analytical assay methods to evaluate and assure the stability and quality of the medications.
